Class policies
Register for classes on our Sign Up page.
Registration closes at 10 pm on the Thursday before each scheduled class.
Cancellations must be made in writing to carol@thecognitivedefender.com or by phone at 541.844.6154
Course Confirmation
You will not be confirmed for any class unless your payment is received at least 2 weeks prior to the class date.
Payment
We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Venmo and PayPal. Gift cards are also available for purchase and merchandise.
A $15 fee will be applied for returned checks.
Cancellation, Refunds & Rescheduling Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your class based on the following:
100% Refund - 4 or more weeks prior to class date for payments by check or cash
90% Refund - 4 or more weeks prior to class date for online payments (to cover transaction fees)
50% Refund - 2-3 weeks prior to class date
No refund less than 2 weeks notice of cancellation
There is no fee for rescheduling to a later date if more than 2 weeks notice is given. A $25 fee will be charged for a rescheduling request of fewer than 2 weeks notice.
Students should understand that instructors and range time are reserved predicated upon class participation. The Cognitive Defender LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. We also reserve the right to remove any student from the class who is visibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and no refund will be issued. We further reserve the right to refuse a registration for any classes.
If classes are canceled or rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you are entitled to a credit for another class. If a class is canceled you will be notified via the email address you provided during registration. Please make sure we have up to date contact information prior to attending the class. The Cognitive Defender LLC is not responsible for any travel fees or expenses incurred related to your registration if the class is canceled.
